Description

The NDFA, on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills, is procuring a framework of multi-disciplinary project management, technical advisory and design team consultants for the delivery of school building projects as part of the school building programme announced by the Minister of Education and Skills in November 2015.To assist the Department of Education and Skills in the delivery of this required additional school capacity an element of the schools building programme will be procured and delivered by the NDFA, acting on an agency basis (the Devolved Schools Building Programme 2 (‘DSBP2’)).Initially the programme will comprise of approximately 19 individual projects ranging from new build schools to extension/refurbishment projects for primary, post primary and special schools.It is anticipated that further schools may be added to the DSBP2.It is intended that most, if not all, school projects referred to the NDFA will be procured by way of design-build public works contracts with schools typically aggregated into bundles based on location, size and/or character. The actual form of contract arrangement and procurement will be determined by the NDFA in consultation with the DoES.Further details are available in the request for tenders attached to this Contract Notice
