Switzerland - Construction of weirs

Description

The Schaffhausen power station is a run-of-river power station with 2 machine groups and 3 weir fields. The dam is located on the axis of the machine groups of the power plant center and was built in 1964. The dam consists of a weir arranged at right angles to the river with 3 weir fields with a clear width of 15 m each. The subject of the present tender is the hydraulic steel construction and the corrosion protection renewal of the 3 weir fields.The following services and supplies are mainly planned:- scaffolding works in the gunner's interior,- tight enclosure and roofing of the entire working area,- NDT tests of the welding seams,- revision of the flap servo motor and the main drive servo motors,- replacement of all steel hydraulic seals and the central lubrication devices,- removal of the complete internal and external old coating of the gunners,- application of a new internal and external corrosion protection system to the segmental gunner and flap.
