Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH is planning a new building to be constructed on the campus that will provide space for start-up companies to settle. The planned rental units are to offer cost-effective laboratory and office space that can be flexibly adapted to the growth of the start-up companies. The areas are to be used for work by biotechnological companies and must meet the requirements of safety level S2 (GenTSV, BioStoffV) and be equipped accordingly.The subject of this tender is the required laboratory technology. This is distributed over 5 upper floors (ground floor and 1st - 4th floor) and covers an area of approx. 3,900 m2. All upper floors except the ground floor are planned to be identical in construction.
The laboratory rooms will have basic equipment consisting of media cells with tables in front of them. These will be supplemented by hand wash basins and/or laboratory sinks as well as fume cupboards. 39 fume cupboards are required in total, whereby the fume cupboards on the ground floor (7) are to be equipped with support jet technology. All fume cupboards have a type 90 safety substructure and an acid caustic cabinet. In addition, the installations for the laboratory rows are only kept in stock so that the laboratory equipment can be supplemented at a later date without major construction work. In addition to the laboratory areas, the planning provides for rooms to be used jointly, such as sculleries and equipment rooms, on the respective floors (ground floor and 1st - 4th floors). These rooms are located in the core area.
