Construction of a computer center in building 2710 EB -1 incl. secondary technology - inert gas extinguishing system
According to IT requirements, the new data center will accommodate 19-inch IT equipment at 2,400 to 2,500 height units. The new server room to be created will be set up in a part of room K1.04 in building 2710 and consists of a room system which meets the requirements of DIN EN 50600-2-1 protection class 3. The floor space is approx. 249m². The room height (outer dimension) is limited to a height of 4,190 mm by continuous structural load-bearing elements. Thus, a clear height of 3,800 mm is available for the server room area without deduction of the modular floor construction.

Here: Construction of a fire extinguishing system with gaseous extinguishing agent for the server room according to the requirements of DIN EN 50600-2-5 and the currently valid standards as well as construction of a pressure relief system consisting of a pressure relief flap and a pressure relief channel with external connection for each extinguishing area. To accommodate the extinguishing agent containers (bottle storage), the cellar K2 will be structurally upgraded and protected against unauthorised access by a protective fence. The central media module is easily accessible and located in the server room access area. The system has a leakage protection and the server room is additionally equipped with breathing air monitoring (nitrogen sensor) and integrated into the BMS.
