The Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH operates its central personnel and business management applications using virtualisation technology on 2 redundant hardware platforms in 2 computer centres. These include the following solutions:- SAP ERP FL (Finance and Logistics),- SAP ERP HR (Human Resources),- SAP SRM with SAP MDM,- SAP PI,- SAP Solution Manager,- SAP Cognos TM1 system, which will not be part of the new hardware tender.The contractor (hereinafter referred to as the contractor) shall supply the required hardware components (server, SAN, connection components such as switches, tape library etc.), licenses for platforms, operating systems, SAN components and software, backup software as well as the service for the complete migration to the new hardware. All hardware and software components, including maintenance, are to be offered for a period of 6 years. The renewal of the hardware including the migration of all existing systems must be carried out under guarantee by 31.7.2020 at the latest. The bidder is responsible for controlling all project activities to implement the solution described and a project manager must be appointed. The services to be rendered are to be presented on the basis of a time and resource plan including the responsible employees.
