Description

This contract is divided into three lots, each lot covering a particular type of storage product, namely "File Storage", "Object Storage" and "Internet Small Computer Systems Interface (iSCSI)". The systems (in batches) are to be considered as a whole: the necessary tools, project management, licenses, etc. are part of a system. Smals wants to keep it simple, with the results (guarantees) of availability, performance and functionality being the focus. In this sense, with this market, Smals wants to evolve from purely technical and capacity-based choices to a more result-oriented solution, with the aim of obtaining an even better view on the complete state of the storage environment. This includes proactive monitoring and better alerts to avoid production-impacting incidents. In this context, Smals wants a solution for NFS and/or CIFS (SMB) shares with package 1, S3 storage with package 2 and iSCSI with package 3. The proposed solution can be of the "low tier", "high tier" or "automated tiering" type where full redundancy between two or more data centers (asynchronous or synchronous) must be possible.In addition, each system should be multi-tenant, allowing multiple users to use the system independently. This also means that each tenant can be managed and monitored independently by a tenant manager, without transmitting information from other tenants. Furthermore, there must be the possibility of a general administrator who can manage and monitor the whole system.
With this package, Smals wants a solution for NFS and/or CIFS (SMB) shares. With this package, Smals wants a solution for S3 storage. With this package, Smals wants a solution for iSCSI.
