The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a solicitation on a sole-source basis to University of Central Florida (CAGE 9H673) in Orlando, FL for the procurement of one (1) Composite Laser Induce Fluorescence Detector's (CLIF-D) Light engine and ten (10) chemical sensors in support of the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE).
The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The University of Central Florida holds patents for the technology that will be utilized to satisfy the requirement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice, to be sent to Andrew.kolpack@navy.mil.
