Description

In the course of the new construction of the EÜ Bregenzer Straße in Lindau, the road is extended with drainage facilities of the EÜ Bregenzer Straße with adaptation of the bleaching crossroads to the new traffic conditions, construction of a new traffic light system, reconstruction of the loading road, installation of temporary traffic guidance, construction of new footpaths and cycle paths, road equipment with signs and markings, equipment of a pumping station.
To increase safety, taking into account the foreseeable development of traffic and the smooth handling of traffic, the removal of the two level crossings (BÜ) Langenweg (new name: Inselstraße) and Bregenzer Straße in Lindau (Lake Constance) has already been carried out. The level crossing was replaced by a level-free crossing structure in the first sub-project, which is scheduled for completion in 2018. This new underpass Inselstraße is the main access to the old town area Lindau-Insel for road traffic as well as bicycle and pedestrian traffic from the western area. The replacement of the Bregenzer Strasse level crossing will be completed in July 2020 in a currently ongoing construction project. This new underpass in Bregenzer Strasse is intended as a side access to the old town area of Lindau Island for bicycle and pedestrian traffic from the eastern area only, as well as an escape route. The construction project will be carried out in 2 construction phases 1 in autumn 2020 and 2 in spring 2021, in the course of which the underpass in Bregenzer Strasse, which is already under construction, will be extended and integrated into the existing traffic network. The Ladestraße (south of the underpass) will be renewed in the area of the transition from Bregenzer Straße to the end of the construction site near the old railway signal box. The new underpass will receive, in addition to the carcass work, the trades of civil engineering (building drainage and lighting), civil engineering (mechanical engineering pumping station) and landscaping. On Bregenzer Strasse (north of the underpass), only the superstructure is to be renewed in the area from the transition from Kolpingstrasse to Bregenzer Strasse in the location of the old stock up to the construction boundary. In the area of the new roadway layers as well as the bicycle and pedestrian path south of Bregenzer Straße, the road and path construction is to be newly constructed. The bleach intersection will receive a new superstructure up to the end of the construction boundary in the bleach path and in the intersection area the light signal system will be completely renewed. The perimeter of this traffic light system will be extended to the junction of Kolpingstraße and Schoblochweg further west, outside the construction site.
