Description

The concession provider intends to commission the construction and operation of an area-wide high-speed network and the provision of retail services in the project area in order to supply all schools and hospitals in the sub-areas of the project area described in more detail below with broadband telecommunications services. The grantor of the concession has applied for a subsidy under the federal government's "Subsidy to Support Broadband Expansion in the Federal Republic of Germany" program. In addition, the grantor of the concession will apply for co-financing in accordance with the "Richtlinie zur Förderung des Breitbandausbaus im Land Hessen" (Guidelines for the Promotion of Broadband Expansion in the State of Hesse).
