Germany - Communication system maintenance

Description

BWI is considering inviting tenders for a framework contract with one bidder per lot for the provision of services (maintenance of the existing hardware and associated software components, configuration changes including the necessary installation work and the provision of other related contractual services) for the "Avaya I55" and "Avaya I55 Compact" systems in use by the German Federal Armed Forces by means of a negotiated procedure with a call for tenders in accordance with the German Contracting Rules for the Award of Public Contracts (VSVgV).The systems are still in use with regard to the specific requirements of the Bundeswehr, in particular in the environment of the military training areas, and must therefore be kept in a functional condition.The invitation to tender for the renewal of the telecommunications systems is already being issued. The existing systems must be maintained until the migration is complete.
