Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of Department of National Defense has a requirement for the Combined Joint Intelligence Modernization (CJIM) system. The CJIM project will acquire deployable Multi-Source Intelligence capabilities to support Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) missions and operations around the world. More precisely the project will provide three specific component to enable the formation of an Intelligence centre on deployed operations.
A deployable and transportable secure shelter system. This is called a ground based Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (T-SCIF), which will be scalable from 4 to approximately 90 personnel. This is the focus of this RFI.
The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) component necessary to conduct intelligence support to operations in the deployed environment. The T-SCIFs may be equipped for other necessary networks at the Unclassified, Secret, or other Top Secret (TS) networks. This component requires a top secret environment (ETS)
Infrastructure for storage and training. This will be referred to as Construction In Support Of Equipment (CISOE).
The requirement for industry will be to supply the T-SCIF component of CJIM and provide long-term In-Service Support (ISS) for the system.
