Description

Watermain Pipe Enabling Works for the proposed 50 Bed Residential Care
Centre (RCC) on the Sean Purcell Road (R332), Tuam, Co. Galway. The
works will include the installation of a new 150mm diameter HDPE
watermain pipe along with ducting within the same trench to serve the
bulk water meters and re-diversion of ESB overhead power lines via
underground duct pipework within the proposed RCC site itself.
Contractor is to liaise with ESB in regard to excavation of trench route and
installation of ducting for re-diverted underground power cables. ESB is
to visually inspect open excavated trench on site and the installed section
of ducting/infill material and marker tape, prior to backfilling of any duct
pipework. The route of these underground power cables, has been agreed
with ESB and is shown on the M&E drawings. he new 150mm diameter
HDPE watermain pipe connection will be made within the public footpath
along Vicar Street that is to the west of the proposed RCC development.
The new 150mm diameter watermain pipe will traverse across land owned
by the HSE within the Former Grove Medical, through the Primary Care
Centre (PCC) that is leased out by the HSE and the pipe is to be capped
1.0m within our proposed RCC development.
