Description
Heat supply network and drinking and fire-fighting water network;Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW Münster has construction work carried out on the Lützow barracks in Münster-Handorf. It is planned to renew the complete heat supply network (plastic jacket pipe outside the buildings, steel pipe with insulation inside the buildings), the renewal of the entire drinking water network including the fire water network (PE pipe) as well as the rehabilitation and construction of fire water tanks inside the barracks including surface reconstruction and restoration. The work is to be carried out in a total of 3 construction phases. existing heat supply network: The existing heat supply network supplies the property with local heat from the existing heat generation plant in building B33. The local heating is used for the heat requirements of the ventilation and air-conditioning systems, the heating requirements and for the preparation of hot drinking water. Existing network for drinking and fire-fighting water: The existing network is currently used to supply the property with drinking water. At the same time, the fire water for the hydrants is stored via the same lines. Due to the change of use of the property (former tank barracks - up to now mainly used by schools and currently undergoing change) a network is encountered which is clearly oversized.
