Description
In order to improve the performance of rare gas supply services, we must install all-stainless steel hoses for Helium and nitrogen fluids for satellite customers in all EPCUs. the EPCUs at the Guiana Space Centre supply Helium and Nitrogen gas to satellite manufacturers. the choice to use stainless steel hoses is based on the need to reduce the risk of absorption of ambient humidity, which is very high in Guiana (around 90%). The choice of adapting the lengths to real needs means that additional connections are not required, which increases the risk of particulate pollution and provides additional moisture entry into the network. GHe/GN2 gases made available to the customer must comply with the ISO 7 cleanliness and HR<5 ppm relative humidity thresholds.
