CARRYING OUT VARIOUS ASSET MAINTENANCE WORK
AT THE MATANE RIVER STATION
CALL FOR TENDERS N° 1411-02-0390

The Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ) invites all contractors in the province of Quebec and territories of governments that are signatories to intergovernmental agreements that meet the requirements of this call for tenders to submit prices for the work indicated in the price schedule in this document and in accordance with the technical specifications.
1. SCOPE OF WORK
The Société des Traversiers du Québec wishes to have various asset maintenance work carried out on the river station it owns in Matane. The work covered by this mandate includes the various asset maintenance work described in the specifications and architectural, building mechanical and electrical drawings. The work is to be performed under a single lump sum contract.
2. PUBLIC OPENING OF BIDS
At the end of the deadline for the receipt of tenders, they will be opened to the public at the following location:

3. OBTAINING TENDER DOCUMENTS
Bidding documents can only be obtained through the Electronic Bidding System (E-bidding).
4. GENERAL INFORMATION MEETING
The STQ invites bidders to an information meeting to provide additional information on the needs to be met and to answer bidders' questions on any aspect of the call for tenders. Bidders will be required to register for this meeting in advance through the "PRELIMINARY MEETING REGISTRATION FORM".
This meeting will be held at 14:00, local time, on 26 SEPTEMBER 2019 at the following address:

1410, Route Matane-sur-Mer
Matane (Québec) G4W 3M6
Bidders must have read all tender documents and made a site visit before the general information meeting.
All bidders, contractors and subcontractors will be considered to have visited the site and no claims for lack of knowledge of the site may be submitted or accepted.
5. BID BOND
Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to:
- 10% of the bid amount (if, by surety bond)
OR OR
- 5% of the bid amount (if, by certified cheque, money order, draft or irrevocable letter of guarantee)
6. SCHEDULE
The work covered by this contract must be fully completed, i.e., it must have received provisional or final acceptance on September 20, 2019.
The following dates are important:
September 9, 2019 : Call for tenders
September 26, 2019 : General information meeting on site
October 10, 2019: Opening of bids submitted (2 p.m.)
November 4, 2019 : Signing (Granting) of the contract
November 11, 2019 : Beginning of the work
July 2, 2020 : End of the work
