Description

Antwerp Port Authority has been preparing itself for the future with a new mission and vision since 2018. Based on this mission and vision, a business plan with 5 strategic priorities was drawn up for 2018-2020. This was further translated into a commercial and marketing strategy and a concrete action plan. In order to support the strategic and commercial priorities, marketing and communication campaigns need to be developed. A number of them were launched in 2019 and will be continued in terms of strategy and concept in 2020*. In addition, new campaigns should be created (approx. 5 per year), including on the themes of innovation and sustainability in the port of Antwerp. The aim of the campaigns is to: - generate leads from potential customers (in order to ultimately generate additional flows of goods within each of the themes mentioned via Port of Antwerp), - better inform our target groups about the offer in the port of Antwerp (e.g. the location of Port of Antwerp, the intermodal connections, the digital solutions, etc.), - create more brand awareness, and online channels should be leading in the campaigns, but it should also be possible to use the finished deliverables in offline channels. For this assignment, the Port of Antwerp is looking for an external partner for a collaboration of 3 years.Ongoing campaigns 2019-2020:- Brexit (services and connections of the port after a hard Brexit), - E-commerce (container gateway with good connections), - chemical hub (positioning the port for transport of polymers), - steel and project cargo (expertise in handling goods), - food (services for refrigerated goods, fruit), - mobility (initiatives for a 'modal shift' from less transport by road to more transport by inland waterway and rail).Target group lists:- B2B:- the users of the port (customers and prospects): shippers, shipping companies, freight forwarders. These target groups can be further subdivided according to, among other things, the type of goods flow they handle and the region in which they operate. The commercial target groups are international, spread over all continents,-- the port community: shippers (mainly petrochemical industry), forwarders, shipping companies, logistics service providers, terminal operators and other players (whether or not a concessionaire in the port area) involved in port operations. This target group can be further subdivided according to, among other things, the type of goods flow they deal with - B2C:-- The social target groups: public opinion with, among others, politics, government, media, the inhabitants of Antwerp and the Left Bank and the Waasland, surroundings, etc.
