Description

The promoter intends to design artistic elements that span several storeys exclusively in the atrium area. The design should aim at a light installation with sculptural and/or coloured components. The architectural and technical conditions and the function of the atrium as access and central location of the building must be taken into account in the artistic design. The continuation of the creative formulation of the lighting concept of the atrium is part of the task. The lighting concept presented in the plans and visualisations fulfils the technical and legal requirements and is a component of previous commissions. Modifications by the artistic contribution, in the sense of an integrated overall lighting concept, are desirable within the framework of a manageable feasibility. general conditions architecture and technology under 14. the participants are free to choose the light source / illuminant, provided it is a commercial illuminant. Unevenness can be a very attractive design tool under certain conditions. The unevenness shall not affect the safety of persons. The materials used must be durable and low-maintenance, any possibility of injury must be ruled out and any impairment by additional fire loads must be ruled out. It is important that the work of art or the light components of the entire work of art also have an effect in daylight or when the power supply is switched off.The competition task comprises the artistic conception in a feasible draft and its presentation. The later planning implementation as well as the execution (production, delivery, assembly and connections to the technical infrastructure provided by the customer) will be carried out by the winner of the 1st prize within the stated budget or the binding offer. Execution services must be provided by competent personnel. Competition services must be submitted anonymously:10.1) Model (if required). M 1:20 10.2. Wall finish. M 1:20 10.3. ground plans (with scale). M 1:100 or 1:50 10.4. views / if applicable sections (with scale) M 1:100 or 1:50 10.5. visualisation of different lighting situations digitally and/or in the model;10.6) explanatory report on the artistic concept with information on material and technology;10.7) cost breakdown according to fee, production costs (including material, transport, assembly and other ancillary costs) net;10.8) Estimation of operating and maintenance costs or expenses per year net;10.9) Optional: work samples to clarify the technique, samples, details;10.10) In addition, it is optional and desirable to include the artistic proposal with the help of additional sketches, descriptions.
