Description

The promoter intends to design artistic elements that span several storeys exclusively in the atrium area. The design should aim at a light installation with sculptural and/or coloured components. The architectural and technical conditions and the function of the atrium as access and central location of the building must be taken into account in the artistic design. The continuation of the creative formulation of the lighting concept of the atrium is part of the task. The lighting concept presented in the plans and visualisations fulfils the technical and legal requirements and is a component of previous commissions. Modifications by the artistic contribution, in the sense of an integrated overall lighting concept, are desirable within the framework of a manageable feasibility. general conditions architecture and technology under 14. the participants are free to choose the light source / illuminant, provided it is a commercial illuminant. It is important that the work of art or the light components of the entire work of art also have an effect in daylight or when the power supply is switched off.The competition task comprises the artistic conception in a feasible draft and its presentation.
