Description

A library shelving system according to RAL-RG 614/1 is to be created.the shelving systems must comply with the recognized rules of technology.they must comply with the Berufsgenossenschaftliche Regeln für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit für Lagereinrichtungen und -geräte DGUV 108-007 (German Employers' Liability Insurance Association Rules for Safety and Health at Work for Storage Equipment and Devices DGUV 108-007) and carry the GS mark.to prevent accidents and ensure usability, the shelving systems must comply with the quality and safety standard according to RAL-RG 614/1 for shelving systems or be comparable. The shelving units shall be set up by the contractor as fixed units. A regular distance of approx. 80 cm shall be left between the rows of shelving units designed as single and double-sided shelving units as a service aisle, which allows the problem-free storage of large-format stock without any further aids. Devices shall be attached to the outer side parts of the shelving units, which allow for easy signage with information on the shelf contents. The shelf dimensions of 600 x 400 mm are based on the standard page size of a daily newspaper. 7 compartments are to be provided in each case, the base can be up to 20 mm high. In the case of shelving systems requiring anti-tilt protection in accordance with DGUV 108-007, anti-tilt profiles are to be installed and included in the corresponding unit prices. The sheet steel used must comply with the minimum quality ST 1203. The design is required according to RAL-RG 614/1. Compliance with the following standards is binding for the execution of work for measurement and invoicing:- DIN 1 629 steel sheets and strips DIN 7 624;- DIN 4 102 Part 5, Fire behaviour of building materials and components;- DIN 18 299 general rules for construction work of all kinds;- DIN 18 357 hardware work;- DIN 18 360 metal construction and locksmith work;- DIN 18 364 surface protection in steel and aluminium;- as well as delivery, storage and processing instructions of the manufacturers. The permissible load per shelf must be up to 25 kg with reference size 83 kg/m (see DIN 67700, Table 45 for books with spine height > 0.45 m). This results in a maximum bay load of approx. 175 kg/1 750 Newton with 7 compartments on top of each other. The cover in the foot area is also the lower shelf. The maximum deflection of the shelves is 1:100 The racking system should be demountable and only be connected to the building structure to the extent necessary for assembly. Unevenness of the floor must be evened out.it is necessary to provide shelves as upper cover shelves everywhere to prevent dirt and dust deposits (it is therefore to be calculated with 8 shelves incl. plinths).the grid dimension for the flexible suspension of the shelves should be designed at intervals of 10 mm; however, at least at intervals of 20 mm, height adjustment or changing the shelf spacing should be possible without additional tools/auxiliary aids. The offer must include all materials necessary for the height adjustment of the shelves, if applicable.the side walls/side shelf sections should be perforated or have large surface slits to ensure or at least not prevent a regular airflow on each shelf level.the frames of the shelves should be designed in such a way that slipping or falling out of the archive documents is prevented. Jamming or damage to the stored goods must be excluded. Both the side walls themselves as well as the punched holes for the shelf suspension of the rack superstructure must safely absorb the loads that occur and ensure sufficient stability.the surfaces of the rack systems must be protected against external influences by a suitable protective coating. The surface must be powder-coated and no galvanised components must be used. A 100 % corrosion protection must be guaranteed on all corners, holes and edges. The protective coating should be of a light colour for optimum light reflection. The colour of all parts is light grey RAL 7035. No lighting is provided on the shelves. The paint surface must be rough enough to prevent the media units from slipping off to the side, but also to prevent damage to the media units. All burr edges are to be smoothed cleanly. All materials used must be physiologically perfect and harmless to health. To ensure safe use, i.e. to avoid e.g. cuts, shelves must be appropriately folded on the long sides. Delivery and assembly is possible on working days during normal working hours between 7.00-17.00 hrs. The local conditions must be taken into account on delivery.the maximum room height is 2.40 m. The service includes delivery, assembly and installation of the shelving system, incl. suspension of the shelves and attachment of signs for labelling on the outer side parts in the direction of the main aisle (escape route).
