The hall was built in 1988 and is in a state of preservation appropriate to its use and age. It is to be renovated and brought to the current state of the art.

The building services are in need of renovation with regard to electrical, heating, ventilation and sanitary installations. The ventilation equipment including fire protection in the technical room will be upgraded on site in 2020. The air distribution system in the remaining area of the building will remain in the existing building and may have to be adapted to the conditions in the course of the general refurbishment. The insulation and seals of the HLS have already been tested positively for pollutants such as KMF and asbestos. With regard to the designation and description of the services to be provided, the client is guided by § 34 HOAI 2013 in conjunction with Annex 10. A step-by-step commissioning is intended: in a first step, the so-called performance level 1, all services required for a general refurbishment are to be considered and backed up with a cost estimate i. The architect must prepare a cost estimate for the construction work to be planned and supervised by him in accordance with DIN 276 and coordinate the cost estimates of the specialist planners. After the municipal committees have decided on the services to be performed, the further service stages can be commissioned, if necessary limited to individual building services trades. 4 multipurpose halls located in the municipality of Weißenthurm are to be refurbished. An application for all 4 tenders is possible.
