Description

The topic of building culture has moved into the public focus in Germany. As an object of social discourse, it is often thematized, discussed and scientifically investigated. The districts of Miesbach, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Rosenheim would like to establish themselves as a region of building culture. A package of building culture measures is to be implemented in selected municipalities in the region and a building culture strategy is to be drawn up at regional level as a framework for further building culture activities in the coming years. In a public call for projects, eight municipalities have already been identified for further processing. The aim of the present project is the long-term anchoring of building culture in the region, its municipalities and the initiatives and citizens active there. In a first step, methods for building culture work will be taught within the framework of concrete interactions in the eight selected municipalities in the three districts. In a second step, a building culture strategy for the entire region will be worked out with political, administrative and civil society representatives, which will form a framework for building culture work in the coming years. The project has pilot character in Germany, the relevant districts can and would like to become the model region for building culture in the whole federal territory. It is first the AN's task to familiarise himself with the subject matter with regard to the communities concerned. He has interesting projects to research, the actors behind them and points of contact that are suitable as training and coaching material. The AN has to plan a big kick-off event with about 100-200 participants. The kick-off event should preferably take place on a whole day, but two half-day events are also possible. The aim of the work of the project, which lasted several months in the municipalities, is to improve the building culture climate in the respective municipality on a sustainable basis by developing a specific building culture strategy at the municipal level. The participating locations are to be enabled to work independently beyond the duration of the project and to pursue the strategy on a long-term basis. Here at least 24 appointments are to be planned for each congregation, on which in each case full-time work is done in and with the congregations in the aforementioned sense. During these appointments, the employee is on site with at least one professionally qualified project manager and one assistant per municipality. A regular exchange of experience on the progress of the project is provided for, with at least six meetings taking place over the project period between the project managers of the contractor and the client, in which the respective state of affairs is discussed and the further course of action is agreed, and at least two media and public events at which an open exchange of experience can take place between the parties involved. There should be between 50 and 100 participants. Analogous to the kick-off event, the contractor must plan a corresponding closing event. The Contractor shall transfer the results worked out with the municipalities into a strategy paper which enables the municipalities involved to apply the learnt/established knowledge in daily practice. Furthermore, the Contractor shall record all events and meetings held by him and hand these records over to the Client in a closed procedural documentation. The documentation handed over to the AG is checked by the AG.
