Ringerike municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the implementation of a feasibility study in connection with alterations/addition to the Ringerike crematorium.
Ringerike municipality will procure an architect with a landscape architect to carry out a feasibility study in connection with Ringerike crematorium, with an option for draft and preliminary projects. The current crematorium needs updated, both for construction engineering reasons and crematorium engineering reasons, and there is also a need to update the equipment in connection with functional capacity. It is requested that the ceremonial area remain as is. The municipality would like to carry out a feasibility study to assess development solutions for Ringerike crematorium such as:1) Alteration of the existing facilities and/or new construction2) The building must have room functions that ensure rational operation of the crematorium, are energy-smart and have good life-cycle economics.3) The crematorium must contribute to a lifestyle-independent and flexible place for burial ceremonies.A flow chart has been prepared that shows the various functions in the building, the movement of caskets, the movement of the bereaved and more. A room and function programme has also been prepared (provisional draft, attached) which shows how staff, the bereaved, funeral directors and visitors will use the facility, and functional requirements for planning and engineering design. The budget value for the assignment/feasibility study is NOK 1.5 million excluding VAT. In addition, the contracting authority would like to exercise options for caskets, a preliminary project and a detail project/transfer to the contractor. The options will be exercised during the assignment and in stages. For options to be exercised, it is assumed that the assignment will be given a new framework following the feasibility study.The contract conditions will be regulated by NS 8402 Consultancy assignments according to hours used. As for what will be included in the hourly prices in the contract, the contracting authority refers to NS 8402 point 12.2.The options in the contract may make it applicable to change the contract form to NS 8401. Prices will be fixed through 2023, and will then be regulated in accordance with SSB's consumer price index.
