Description

The client, Klinikum Nordfriesland gGmbH, is represented by houses in Husum, Niebüll and Föhr. In coordination with the funding agency, the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Youth, Family and Senior Citizens of Schleswig-Holstein, an extension and renovation of the North Frisia Clinic at the Niebüll and Husum sites is planned. At the Niebüll site, an extension to the main building with new operating theatres is planned. At the Husum site, the construction of the so-called Z-wing, which will also house operating theatres, the construction of an education centre for medical professions and a helicopter landing pad are planned. The extension of the main building with operating theatres in Niebüll must begin immediately, as construction is to be completed as quickly as possible. The start of the training centre is also scheduled for 2019, as is the realisation of the Z-wing with helicopter landing pad. The services of the general planner shall comprise the architecture of the work phases 1 to 9, structural design of the work phases 1 to 5, technical building services design of the work phases 1 to 9 as well as medical technology design and open-air plant design as well as consulting services for thermal building physics and sound insulation as well as subsoil investigations. The contract is awarded in stages, so that an initial contract is awarded for work phases 1 to 4. The details can be found in the HOAI and general planner contract already attached as drafts. It also lists which services are not carried out by the general planner, but with a separate assignment by the client. The construction project will be carried out on the client's clinic premises during ongoing clinic operations, which must not be impaired in any way by the construction work, which is why restrictions and difficulties (in particular consideration of noise protection, emergency air traffic, use of rescue vehicles, patients and visitors, etc.) may arise for the contractor during the execution of the construction project, which he must take sufficiently into account. The specifications of the funding body, in particular those contained in the grant notices, must be observed by the contractor and the resulting specifications must be implemented in his performance.
