Description of Work :
Enhancement Project database (ENPRO) is an MS Access database system that has been used by SEP (Salmonid Enhancement Project) hatcheries since 1997 to record and manage operational data. While the system is still somewhat functional, it has a number of serious flaws that make it difficult for SEP to effectively deliver its program. The Enhancement Planning and Assessment Database (EPAD) application is a newer (developed since 2008) regional database which summarizes some of the data reported by ENPRO.
 * In the context of this contract/RFP process, "enhancement data management" comprises all the disciplines related to the development, execution and supervision of plans and practices that record, validate, control and deliver the data from field enhancement projects, including data collection, routine error checking, report generation, data assembly, sharing and archiving.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement for eight resources to work on a new application. The work will include support in the areas of Project Management, Systems Analysis, Information and Technical Architecture, Application/Software development and Database development and support.
The new system must be architected to support various requirements including a geographically dispersed user base, data integrity, security and accessibility as well as current DFO technologies including the possible use of cloud services.
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories
