CALL FOR TENDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK (ISO)

RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS IN QUEBEC

FILE NW: 6809-19-0102 - Removal and installation of guardrails on Route 167 in the municipality of Eeyou Istchee Baie-James, outside the MRC, Ungava electoral district.

The estimated amount 1 of the contract is between $500,000 and $999,999,999.99.

Only bids submitted by contractors with an establishment in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable agreements and holding the required licence under the Building Act will be considered.

LIMITATIONS


The successful contractor of the construction contract and its affiliates will be ineligible for any subsequent call for tenders for the award of contracts for the monitoring and engineering of soils and materials relating in whole or in part to the project in question.



The Contractor and its affiliates may not act as direct or indirect subcontractors to companies with which the Minister enters into contracts for the monitoring and engineering of soils and materials relating in whole or in part to the project in question.



In the case of a construction contract awarded to a group of companies, these limitations also apply to each of the constituent parts and their respective affiliates.


To the extent that an overall project is divided into different sectors, blocks, phases, phases, segments, etc., each of these sectors shall be considered as a separate covered project for the purposes of this limitation clause and the related eligibility clauses in the Instructions to Contractors.

This contract may not be awarded to a contractor unless the contractor provides, no later than the signing of the contract, an ISO registration certificate in accordance with the ISO Quality Management System standard (or a certification certificate), issued by a registrar accredited by the Standards Council of Canada or by an accreditation body recognized by it.

BID SECURITY REQUIRED

- 10% of the bid amount (bond) OR

- 5% of the bid amount (certified or certified cheque, money order, draft or
irrevocable letter of guarantee)
