The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, and the Northport VA Medical Center in Northport, NY anticipate a purchase order for the following:

STATEMENT OF WORK

Overview: Sterile Processing Services requires two (2) new Medivators Advantage Plus Automatic Endoscope Reprocessor (AER) OR equivalent with hookup accessories and detergents to meet the demands of an increased Gastroenterology workload. This project is designed to ensure standards and practices are followed. In adhering to the mission Statement of the Northport VA, it is our duty to provide exceptional care for our Veterans. This request exemplifies our commitment to offering efficient, safe integrated quality healthcare capable of providing a full range of state-of-the-art care in an organization that is readily accessible and responsive to change.

Specifications: The Medivators Advantage Plus AER is a fully automated, computer-based asynchronous endoscope reprocessor featuring an FDA-cleared cleaning claim: Use of the wash cycle with Intercept Detergent eliminates the need for manual brushing and flushing of the endoscope. The reprocessor monitors each endoscope channel separately for blockages and proper flow, ensuring complete high-level disinfection. A computerized detection system eliminates human error in the selection and connection of hook-ups. Tracking endoscope usage and viewing cycle logs are super easy with on-board data management tools. The single-use, environmentally-friendly Rapicide PA High-Level Disinfectant works in 5 minutes at a low 30°C *, saving time and ensuring compatibility. Continuous, automated leak testing and a programmable alcohol flush are also standard attributes.
