In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notice that DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with an estimated contract value of $16,100,000. This procurement is for 1 part under the Federal Supply Class 5820. The NSN and item description is included below:

Nomenclature: HANDHELD, REMOTE CONTROL RADIO DEVICE (HRCRD)
The HRCRD will be used as part of the manpack radio set, AN/PRC-119 and all vehicular configurations AN/VRC-87 through AN/VRC-92. The HRCRD will be used in place of the H-250 Handset to provide selected remote control of all versions of the SINCGARS Receiver-Transmitter (RT). The HRCRD shall control Cipher Text/Plain Text (CT/PT), Radio Frequency (RF) Power, Channel Preset, Volume, and Frequency Hop/Single Channel (FD/SC).Â
The Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacture and acceptance of this item is available from the Government. The TDP for this item is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This information shall not be provided to non-U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State. Interested sources wishing to request for the top level drawing and parts list of this item must demonstrate that your company has an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP) when submitting request to the Government Point of Contract.
