Description

• To assess consumer understanding of instructions and appropriate handling
of prepared convenience foods;
• To assess consumer behaviour in relation to the heat treatment, handling
and storage of prepared convenience foods, including any leftovers, and
compliance with on-pack instructions;
• To examine the on-pack instructions with regard to handling, heat treatment
and storage and treatment of leftovers in a variety of prepared convenience
foods prepared and sold from:
o Retail outlets on the island of Ireland (IOI);
o Local companies who produce prepared meals and sell directly to the
consumer on IOI;
