  • Learn about the project’s structure, timeline, financing, and export potential for scaling hydrogen use in Asia.

Description

Join this webinar to learn about Mongolia’s first green hydrogen pilot project at the Oyu Tolgoi mine. The project is being developed by Sunsteppe Power LLC in close collaboration with Oyu Tolgoi LLC and with strong support from the Government of Mongolia. In addition to its primary objective—clean heating—the project will also demonstrate the use of hydrogen for mining haul trucks, helping assess the viability of hydrogen-powered transport in mining operations.

The project is backed by a grant finance and is positioned as a foundation for broader clean energy deployment across Mongolia’s mining sector. With strong potential for scale-up, it is well-positioned to meet Mongolia’s domestic clean energy needs and to support green hydrogen exports to major markets such as China.

Gain insight into partnership opportunities for investors, EPC firms, and technology suppliers in this high-impact, first-of-its-kind energy transition project in Mongolia.
