In the first content-packed session, we'll be discussing export strategy; we’ll cover the benefits and barriers of exporting; how to conduct your international market research, devise your pricing strategy and routes to market and how you can ensure you get paid when trading overseas. This session is suitable for goods and services companies who want to maximise success in overseas markets.

Irina has worked in the private and public sectors, both in the UK and overseas. She has helped businesses of all sizes to develop their sales overseas, working across multiple sectors and markets.
With a particular interest in international market research, international communications and cultural awareness, Irina has led delegations of UK businesses on market visits and trade missions organised by Chambers of Commerce and DBT.
Rimante Bang
UK Export Academy Adviser, Department for Business and Trade
Rimante has worked for a range of private and public sector organisations both in the UK and overseas. She has over 20 years of both import and export experience in various international markets, including 16 years living and working in South Korea, which allowed her to gain invaluable exposure to Asian markets and business culture. She has experience across retail, education, consumer electronics, food and nutraceutical sectors.

His journey includes roles at Burton Group, General Electric, and BUPA. Notably, he has ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing startups in Broking and the wholesale Wine Trade. His diverse background reflects a blend of corporate expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.
