India is aiming to meet 50% of its electricity generated from renewable energy sources by 2030, helping the country to reach net zero emissions by 2070.
As the country aspires to lead on a new model of economic development that is less carbon-intensive, this presents a huge opportunity for UK companies in the Energy and Clean Growth sectors, in a market that could be worth up to £80 billion by the end of this decade.
