With a £2.8 billion package to support the phase out dates, this ambitious plan will accelerate demand for zero emission vehicles.

Billions of investment for British Manufacturing including for the development of zero emission vehicles

On 17 November 2023, the UK government announced £4.5 billion in funding for British manufacturing including an Advanced Manufacturing plan which will provide the single biggest Government investment in UK automotive manufacturing of £2 billion in new capital and R&D support for batteries and zero emission vehicles out to 2030.
