Le Mark are a family-run enterprise based on a farm near St Ives, in Cambridgeshire, and have evolved from being a local supplier to a global player in the arts and entertainment industry. With four specialist divisions, employing 53 staff, offering tapes, labels, floors, and crew wear, the company has successfully created a global network of more than 150 distributors.
International Growth Story
Le Mark started selling overseas by supplying gaffer tapes to film studios. As demand grew, so did customers' requests for other products that were needed.
This resulted in innovation becoming intertwined throughout the business, leading to upskilling and diversification to provide existing and new customers with products ranging from labels and floors to launching the Dirty Rigger brand of work clothes and accessories.
This adaptability led to significant milestones, including being a key supplier for the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, to growing in European markets, helping achieve a total of £8.7m in sales last year.
