Munro Vehicles, based in Glasgow, is a designer and manufacturer of fully electric commercial vehicles. Its mission is to develop and deliver next-generation zero-emission vehicles that help essential but carbon-intensive industries transition to net zero. Its flagship product is the Munro Series-M: A specialist vehicle designed for the most demanding work and terrain in the world. The Series-M can act as a van, a 4x4 and a UTV all at once.
Exports have significantly helped Munro to grow, engaging with 16 countries in 2023. This has led to increased sales, revenue, and profitability with a current potential international order book size of £50M+.
Munro intends to deliver 30 vehicles by the end of 2024, and a targeted 2,500 vehicles by 2027. This will run parallel with plans to occupy a new purpose-built factory near Glasgow, creating 300+ jobs and allowing for valuable space as we create more vehicles each year.
