Concrete Canvas (CC) provides an easy-to-use, rapidly installed, waterproof concrete layer, requiring no need for plant or mixing equipment. The product was originally created by William Crawford and Peter Brewin, who developed a concept for rapidly deployable inflatable cement-filled shelters to assist in disaster relief, which can be delivered easily to site by being folded for transportation.

CC is designed to be ideal for a wide range of erosion control applications, with no need for specialist training or plant equipment.

By expanding into overseas markets, 85% of the company's revenue now comes from international sales. Concrete Canvas' entry into the Manufacturing category was noted by judges as showing impressive adaptability to market access.

Their entry noted their success from entering the Japanese market, traditionally viewed as a difficult place to export and build a successful business, which has been their number one export market for the last five years.

The company has also recently launched in the US market, opening their first office in 2020, and have since established a network of more than 12 US distributors.
